Premium PPF, Precision Installed
Paint Protection Film is a clear, durable urethane that absorbs impact from rocks, gravel, bug splatter, and minor scratches. Heat from the sun lets the film "self-heal" — minor scratches and swirl marks disappear over time.
We install Onyxhield EX9 — a heavy-gauge 8 mil (200 μm) film engineered with motorsports-grade durability. Its optical layer is tuned to control light transmittance and reflectance, so your factory color reads richer and more vivid through the film than without it.
- 8 mil (200 μm) impact-grade thickness
- Self-healing top coat erases swirls with heat
- Resists bird droppings, road salt & calcium chloride
- Optical clarity that enhances paint color
- Custom-cut, nearly invisible finish
- 10-year manufacturer quality guarantee

The Case for Paint Protection Film
Modern automotive paint is thinner than it has ever been. Manufacturers have moved to water-based, low-VOC clear coats over the last fifteen years, and those finishes are far more vulnerable to rock chips, road salt, and parking-lot rash than the paint on cars built in the 90s. A single highway commute behind a gravel truck on I-80 can leave dozens of micro-chips across a hood — and those chips don't buff out.
Paint protection film is a clear, optically tuned urethane that sits between your paint and the outside world. It's thick enough to absorb the impact of a stone at 70 mph and elastic enough to flex back into shape after impact. The self-healing top layer reflows under sunlight or warm water, so light swirl marks and fingernail scratches simply vanish over the course of a day.
We custom-cut each kit from manufacturer-released patterns specific to your year, make, and model. That means edges tuck cleanly into panel gaps with no visible seams, no lifted corners, and no oversprayed adhesive. On vehicles where a stock pattern doesn't exist, we bulk-wrap the panel and hand-trim off the vehicle, never on it.
The Onyxhield EX9 film we install is 8 mil (200 μm) thick — noticeably heavier than the entry-level films most shops quote — and it's tuned in the factory to control light transmittance, reflectance, and refractive index so your paint actually looks richer through the film. It blocks UV-driven discoloration, shrugs off bird droppings, road salt, and calcium chloride, and carries a 10-year manufacturer quality guarantee against yellowing, cracking, and delamination.
PPF and ceramic coating are not the same thing, and they aren't competitors. PPF is a physical impact shield. Ceramic coating is a chemical and UV shield that adds gloss. Many of our customers run a Full Front PPF package on high-impact panels and a 5-year ceramic coating over the entire vehicle — together they solve both problems while keeping the car looking better than new for years.
What to Expect
- 1
Surface Prep
We decontaminate and clay-bar every panel that will receive film so the adhesive bonds to clean paint.
- 2
Pattern & Trim
Computer-cut kits are aligned dry, then bulk panels are hand-trimmed off the vehicle for seamless edges.
- 3
Wet Install & Squeegee
Film is floated into place, squeegeed to remove every micron of slip solution, and the edges set with heat.
- 4
Final Cure
We let the adhesive fully cure before delivery and brief you on car-wash and waxing guidelines.
